Hope everyone is having a nice weekend! Anybody have big plans for the Super Bowl tonight? I don’t really have a team I’m pulling for, just hoping it’s an exciting game like the one last year between the Patriots and Falcons. Even if it’s a blowout though, I’ll probably keep watching anyway just to see if there are any good commercials this year.
Speaking of commercials, do you guys pay attention to cartridge razor commercials anymore? I don’t know if I’ve gotten so used to their gimmicks that I can just tune them out whenever I see them come on the TV, but I really can’t even remember the last time I saw one on TV.
Well, I guess there is 1 exception: Dollar Shave Club. Those guys make some pretty funny commercials. Their advertising and marketing departments are some of the best out there I think.
Anyway, I wanted to share an old skit from Mad TV that I think is hilarious. It’s might be old but does a hilarious job at summarizing how the team here at a superior shave feels about cartridge razors and why we think they are inferior to a safety razor.
